Since we're on the topic of BR roads already, what the hell just happened to Pecue between Airline and Perkins? They just did about 5-6 patch jobs each direction and they did an AWFUL job on all of them. Its like driving over rumble strips for each patch. Was this stretch of road really in that bad of shape?

If it really was in that bad of shape, which i dont recall it being, just go ahead and widen and repave the whole thing. Youre gonna have to widen it eventually because of the on and off ramps, which will 100% piss me off because by the time they get to that, they will be building stores and shitty, overpriced, crowded neighborhoods there, making traffic even more of a nightmare

Admittedly, it may be difficult to widen because of the railroad tracks and that fricking overpass, which is also complete arse. But how bout we have some foresight and plan ahead for this?

are they even working on the interstate on and off ramps? I haven't seen any activity there in a while.

Have you contacted your Nextdoor app? There are plenty of Karen’s on there that would probably support you.

Looks like a patch job before they repave

They have been doing earthwork on the ramps for awhile.

Visible from the interstate while headed westbound.

Is that how that works normally? I have no clue. It would alleviate some of my concern though

ETA- Can confirm on the earthwork being done. Dirt is down and you can see the paths where they will eventually pave over now

I've seen them do patch jobs, then plane it all down a few inches before repaving.
