I passed it years ago.

The exam is a game of speed. You really only have around 6 minutes per question.

I remember seeing dudes roll in cases of books before the test. There is simply no time to use even a portion of that much reference material.

Good luck!

Passed transportation this past April. Good luck. If yours is anything like mine, just pay attention for the obvious tricks they give you. My only prep was the Testmasters class, but the tricks stood out for the most part. The questions writers are sneaky

Most likely people taking transportation Unfortunately we had to have it. They would ask like one "look up" question from each book, and that's a quick and easy point as long as you have the books.

Yep.

I remember a question that started with 'X is 100.' Then there was a full paragraph of extra information, numbers, etc.

The final question: What is X?

Thanks! Yeah I'm bringing like 4 books. I did the majority of the MERMS problems plus a practice exam. I don't get my 4 years till July 2017 so i can't get my stamp until July 2017. I'm 3 years out so studying refreshed a lot of material.

Yeah I've been told to read the problems carefully and a lot of extra parameters are in the problems. Should be fun test!

Taking the EE Power exam. I also took the Test Masters course so we'll see how it goes.

Passed the EnvE PE a few years ago (second try). Forgot to study and was too late to reschedule it. Crammed as many practice tests as I could in 3 weeks. Went in with 4 or 5 books and got the job done. Best advice I can give is don't stress and know how to find things quickly in your reference materials.
