Need that update on how the meeting went with your child's kindergarten teacher. Started reading the thread on the Election Board, got all wrapped up in it and Chicken closes the board.

Principal was not available yesterday and my wife had a doctor's appointment for our baby due next spring, so we rescheduled it until after school today.

I'm going to go in calm and ask for an apology to my son, reassurance it won't happen again, and reassurance that she won't treat him any differently and that if I have to come back, I'll be back with representation.

Anything less is unacceptable.

It's a fairly good school district and she's been a great teacher up until that point to be fair. I just think she let emotions get the best of her and I will let her know that is unacceptable.

I would feel the same way even if she was a Trump supporter spouting political stuff to my kid in kindergarten.

You should let her boss handle it. If you don't want her to treat your kid differently, then let him talk to her with the complainant being anonymous. Your indignation over this is a little over the top imo.

seeing as how I'm not a huge Trump fan, I would still be unhappy. It's not acceptable.

yeah...no. I prefer to meet face to face with someone and discuss the issues and hear them speak too.
I don't think her crying (not controlling her emotions) in front of the class and saying that a "bad man" won has any place in a public school. If another child brought it up, she just needs to teach them that we live in a free country and everybody gets a vote to vote for the best president and that we all need to work together. That's really as far as politics should go in a kindergarten classroom.

But seeing as you really dislike me for whatever reason, you would disagree with anything I post here.

Right, cause the teacher will neeeevvver figure out who filed the complaint on her own. That's just genius, Genius.
