I appreciate our service people and the sacrifices they made for me and my family. I really do but do you guys ever get sick of those overly patriotic types?
And you know it's always from the ones who never served a minute in the armed forces. Missed their calling in life is what they always say.

They could never hack it in the Armed Forces.

A lot of it seemed to start with 9/11. I guess it could be worse though

Why would somebody being super into their country be upsetting to you in any way?

I guess I missed the part where only service men and women are allowed to be patriotic.

is it any different than Tiger fans who never played a sport or even went to LSU?

Why should it matter?

I love America but I do know the types you are talking about. The people that try way too hard.

a retired military guy lives on the street over. he has a 15 ft american flag that he puts up, thankfully not often. He has airbrushed eagles all over his 5 vehicles, yes 5. He also has a MIA/POW sign in his front yard, along with a bunch of eagles on his porch. And military gear.

I find it somewhat comical but some of his neighbors do not like it b.c they view his lot as being trashy.
