"Jaws" may seem hokey and dated now but watching that as a kid in the 70s....man, that movie scared the shite out of me.

I really think it's the genesis of my fear of open water.

Crazy how the source of the suspense and scariness was by accident. If the robotic shark hadn't looked so terrible, I don't think "Jaws" would have been near as terrifying. The unknown of it made it so much scarier.

It was scary, but Jaws 3-D in the theatre was WAY scarier! When those sharks hit the glass in 3-D, with the red and blue glasses on, I almost shite myself!
