Is now the right time to plant fruit trees? Is it best to do before the rain comes this week or wait till after?
TIA

I planted my citrus on south side of house with brick veneer. Stays warm enough at night to have minimal freeze damage the past 10 years. And yes, winter is the time to plant fruit trees.

I think you can get them from your local LSU ag extension office.
