I have done the first Insanity and the workouts are brutal but the worked well. I liked the first month but the second month the workouts got a little long for me. Apparently this one the workouts only last 30 minutes and are harder. I would like to hear if this is true.

LOL Sabi, it's funny but partially true.

Haven't done Max 30 but it looks similar to T25. As usually with those types of workouts good for building cardio endurance but not so much muscle unless you already have almost 0 muscle mass.

These types of workouts are great for people who want to look lean and defined, not bulky. I'm one of those that likes to be lean, so I love P90X3 for example.

P90X3 is good stuff.

I like P90X2 a little better but takes too long.

Im more into getting in shape and staying lean. The wanting to bulk up days have ended for now.

I've done T25, Insanity, and Insanity Max 30 each for several months. Max30 is basically Insanity with fewer breaks (30 second breaks every 5-6 min).

The 30 minutes does not include the cool-off period (2-3 min). There is also no stretching built in before the workout.

I am currently on my 2nd round and it is of my favorite workouts. It is hard as a mother but like you said 30 minutes a day each day for 5 days instead of 6. Ask me any questions you have

I've done the whole program once and I just started over on Month 1 again. They are all 30 minutes with a 2 minute cool down at the end. They are definitely difficult and quite different from Insanity. They rely more on body resistance for muscle growth. I put on about 5-7 pounds of muscle from doing it the first time. If you're doing it to lose weight, don't eat as much as you did with Insanity.

I'd disagree with you for Max 30. If you keep a steady supply of high quality protein, you won't lose muscle mass and will likely gain some.

I figured it would have stretching added on at some point in the workouts. Seems like something I am going to buy. Thanks for the info.

Done it twice. 2nd time was boring.

It incorporates some active stretching, but not nearly as much static or active as the original Insanity.
