Any, and I mean any amount you'd like to part ways with, I would agree to.

I don't know where you live, but Dufner in a pair of jeans and t-shirt could walk through your mall today and not get approached by one single person. And it ain't even close.
He could work the concession stand at the super bowl and no customers would recognize him.

Just stop. You are dumb

Wow. You are very wrong.

I mean, he's not Tiger famous or anything, and fame is definitely a relative term, but he's one of the more famous golfers in the world. He would get recognized a lot more than you could imagine.

Yep. Given his unique persona, I would say Duf is probably one of the top 10 most recognizable golfers in the world, currently. That's debatable I suppose. But I don't think I could name more than 10.

Tiger, Phil, Rory, Bubba, Sergio... Idk after that it's pretty debatable. Els maybe? John Daly if you consider him "current." Maybe Poulter or one of the Aussies..

I seriously doubt he's recognized everywhere he goes, but the assertion that he could work the superbowl concession and not get recognized is just silly.

The whole, "he's only famous in the golf world" line acts like that some microscopic number of people.

Hell, if being famous in the golf world doesn't qualify as famous, then 90% of the people who have ever been referred to as famous aren't.

I'd say that's an overly narrow definition. If you are a person who at least has a decent change of being recognized anywhere in the world, you are f'n famous.

Virtually NO ONE is recognized EVERYWHERE they go. Hell, I'll bet Joe Biden could walk into most malls and get out without being noticed(if he didn't have secret service with him). That doesn't mean Biden isn't famous.

Put it this way. If Dufner traveled to any major city in the world and spent 3 hours at a different bar every night for a week, he would not get through the week without several people recognizing him. He could probably go some nights without being recognized. Maybe many nights. But he would have people recognize him.

I could go to the same town and go to the ONE bar for 10 hours a day and I'd be lucky if the people from day 1 recognized me on day 7, much less recognized me for anything other than the bar.

He's famous. I'm not.

If you alter that to the US, then I'd agree with you.

But, I would bet that if he spent a week in Shanghai, Rome, Helsinki, Moscow..., IN NORMAL CLOTHING, then it's highly likely that nobody would recognize him if he was just acting as a normal person, not attracting attention to himself.

I think you are wrong. He is 38 and she is 26. In 2009, the year they met Dufner made almost $2.2 million and finished 11th in FedEx points.

Still think the guy got off easy.

And how do we know she slept around on him? Maybe the guy is insufferable. Maybe he slept around on her.
