I have been taking andro-gel for years. testosterone level is normal for 35 yr old.

however, in the past few months, the site where I apply has been itching.
I intend to change to something else.

Anyone taking the testosterone pill? what is the brand name you take?
do you take a generic?
anything you can say besides 8th grade jokes, appreciated.

8th grade jokes fine too if you know a good one.

Just curious, but at age 35 and normal T levels, why are you taking additional testosterone supplements?

My doctor made me stop using Andro gel over a year ago. Said to have potential cancer causing effects. (not kidding.)

That's going to wreck your system. If you're going to switch from the gel, switch to the pellets.

I take a dissolving tablet of super low dose T. You put it under your tongue at night before bed. My last doctor's visit my levels were within range but lower than the doc wanted them to be for my age. It's only a short term thing until I get my arse back into a gym and lose some weight; so I don't know if this is the same kind of thing you're looking for.

Why have you been taking it for years if your levels are fine?

the only one that i can even remotely remember being used (and very, very rarely, at that) since i've been a pharmacist is oxandralone... but testosterone via the oral route undergoes extensive 1st pass metabolism, and is as a result, is very hard on the liver

Testosterone is the new black. You boys need to face the fact that you are no spring chicken any more.

not all of us are in that situation.... i'm almost 35, and i probably have more T now than i did in my late 20's... of course, i'm living clean and watching my diet a little closer, but still...

I can do a liver flush every couple of months if that's the worst of it.

You should consider changing your diet, and add more red meat. That can increase T naturally.

You boys are fricking with Mother Nature and to think there isn't going to be consequences down the road is pretty wishful thinking. You just need to decide if looking good now is worth cancer or worse later.

Oxandrolone is by far one of the safest oral androgens (with regards to liver toxicity and the inability to be aromaticized to an estrogen), but it isn't commonly used to treat low T levels. It is more commonly used to treat muscle wasting diseases. To my recollection, there isn't an oral testosterone FDA approved only methyltestosterone. Testosterone undecanoate exists orally, but isn't approved (correction, was approved for injection in 2014 after being denied previously. Still no oral).

there's literally no such thing... all those "detox" products are not actually proven to do shite... the only things that "detox" the body are your liver and your kidneys... that's it...
