I think I started having these last month. Fits all the symptoms I found on the web.
Any of you have any experience with this shite? Should I go see a neurologist?

I hear they've had success using LSD as a treatment drug, and no, I'm not joking.

I started taking metroplol. Get help. You will kill yourself if not.

If you are having clusters or migraines go to the damn doctor. If you've never had them before especially. Mri, CT scan. The works in case it's something more serious.

I had them about 30 years ago. When I would get them I had to be alone in a dark room with a cool pillow on my forehead. No one could come within 5 feet of me. It was a pain that I would never want to experience again.
I was given a drug called Cafergot. I was told to take one when I felt a headache coming on and then take one every half hour until it went away (but in no event take more than six). If it went away within six pills, then I was to take that many pills the next time I felt one coming on. For me, the number of pills was four.
They stopped after a few months. I asked my doctor what made them go away. He told me that no one knew what caused them and that they could return as suddenly as they stopped. I haven't had one since and hope never to experience them again. Good luck.

Keep a journal of each and record everything you ate/drank/did prior to the headache. You might find a pattern or triggers to help your doctor. If you do have them, the diagnostic and treatment process between cluster and migrain can be tough.
Good luck because they don't call them suicide headaches for no reason.

I'm not having one right now.
Had one at 2 AM last night. Woke me up thinking I was having a fricking stroke. Made my eye water and brought out the flop sweat. Lasted about half an hour.
The other one I had earlier was not as bad...

I had them BAD when I was 17-22. They were to the point Id be almost in tears and my gf at the time would have to walk me to bed. I went to the nueromedical center in BR and they ran a bunch of tests, eventually got a prescription for a medicine called Fiorocet. It was an absolute lifesaver man. I'd have migraines so bad I would have blurred vision and nausea and they would clear up in 20 min tops. You need to go get it checked out man if they're bad.
Edit: fiorocet is a barbiturate and it's pretty easy to get hooked on, the first few times you take it you'll feel extremely relaxed similar to a codiene high, just a forewarning I wanted to mention.

Medical marijuana. The bud is an excellent headache reliever.
No, I'm not a doctor. But I am a heavy marijuana smoker.

Nature demands balance. The next time you have them, hit your toes with a hammer until the pain in your feet is equal to the pain in your head.

I have heard anecdotal evidence of a certain special type of mushroom that you can't buy in the supermarket as being a wonderful cure
But I can't condone such activities
But it's what I have heard
Go to your doctor

From the description it does sound like it could be cluster but as a poster above said you should seek a doctor who can order an MRI, CT scan etc to rule out tumors et al.
See a headache specialist rather than a general Neurologist. Not sure where you are located but there are several good ones in south Louisiana but there are others as well.
