And this site won't allow for square root sign... When I do alt 251 it shows up on the preview, but not in the post.

The Square Root Property states that if x^2 = p, then x = sqrt(p) or x = -sqrt(p) because if you square a negative number, you get a positive number. So when you multiply through by the LCD of the fraction (5x), you get 5x(x/5) = 5x(3/x). This causes all of the denominators to cancel and you get x^2 = 15. We then use the square root property and set x = sqrt(15) or x = -sqrt(15).
