it looks like you are really in for it get some good pictures and start your gofundme campaign if your family can't afford to fix it and insurance doesn't help.

Theyve done that. I believe it to have been premature as everything is still in the air. Owner has been single after being left years ago due to the father not wanting a kid. She's tough as shite and had to get on assistance for a few months to get her back on her feet and then got off and has been holding her own for 20+ years, but her home which she just finished remodeling sone of it was her best asset obviously. Going to be tough sledding.

Jesus. why don't you go to the meeting with the lawyer next time?

She's tough and doesn't like asking for help and has a ton of pride. I woukd have been glad to go. She is very private and trying to get any info is like pulling teeth. I pieced what I could together last night and posted her.

Thanks for all the responses

Once sued, if the driver's insurance does not cover his dui scenario, she can be sued and her insurance pays. If neither scenario results in a positive for her, her homeowners would cover the repair/replacement and their lawyers get all they can from him and her personally for years to come.
But, I must say, frick that pos bastard for what he did!

It's crazy. She's not right on the road. He went through a ditch and then airborne before crashing through. Was driving a crew cab 4x4. Went airborne

A lot of times insurance will not cover gross negligence (driving while drunk), at least to my knowledge, but I'm by no means an expert on insurance law. She'd be left with bringing a personal suit against the driver and passenger, but if they have no money she may just be out of luck which sucks.

I would ruin the life of the driver and passenger.
