well most gym people knew what 90% max ment. that's fricking common sense. it's what you aim for it's not what you can do.
you're looking at it as someone whose doing reps. i'm not doing reps i'm doing 5x5.
i don't know what your hard on is about. my entire point of the post was simply to state, you are losing the forest in the trees if you are working out fasted. you aren't going to get as good of a workout.. you aren't going to get as good afterburn beucase you didn't push yourself as hard beucase you didn't have the energy to.
take whatever you have to take to get the best workout you can, if it means drink a Powerade or eat some cheap carbs do it, if you work out hard enough you will more than make up the difference in the afterburn. that's all i am trying to say. not trying to get into a pissing match
and for those of you who don't understand what afterburn is, your heart rate is accelerated after a workout, the harder you work out, the logner your heart rate is accelerated, the longer it's acceslerated, the more cals you burn even after you are working out. the harder the workout the better the after burn.
