OT doctors--Do I have an ulcer?

have this random pain in my stomach. kinda feels like hunger pains but I'm not hungry. it comes and goes. nothing really painful but it has woken me up the last 3 nights. anything I can do at home or do I have to go to a doctor?

if it's too dark that means your losing blood.
if you're not about to pass out feeling weak it's probably nothing. But go to the drugstore and take that omeprazole to be safe. If something still isn't feeling right, make an appt. with a gastroenterologist. Better be safe with an ulcer, and the Dr. says, oh it's nothing...rather than going weeks and it getting worse.

I went to the doctor for an ulcer. They took a blood test for H. pylori. Came back negative. He then told me to stop smoking, drinking alcohol and coffee, and eating acidic foods. Did all of those and also did a regiment of OTC heartburn medicine. Cleared right up.
