Literally the only market I can imagine for this is rich guys in Houston looking to have a weekend away with their mistress. Who the frick else is going to spend a grand a night in Galveston?

my friend has a 4 bedroom at the turquoise in orange beach. the going rate is 10k a week and it's always booked.

People said all of the same things about Kemah when he started putting that up. People said the same things about Pleasure Pier when he started putting that up, same shite when he brought the Golden Nugget casino to that shithole across the state line...the list goes on and on.

See a running theme here? But yall keep on shitting on the idea and tell everyone how you are too good to go there or how terrible of an idea it is

The turquoise 4 BR units do not rent for $10k/week.

I can rent one next week for $3600.

That's odd. I rented a 4BR there this summer for right around $6K
