That's a good point. Cooking at home is not the big money saver it's advertised by some to be.

Jesus bro. I don't know how old you are but you can't do that forever and stay under 200 at only 5"11...probably 250 if you don't work out

I went ahead and made an investment on a hot blonde roommate who is a very good cook and loves to do it.

Working out well.

So much truth here. Sometimes I just want water and the servers get an attitude.

This. When my garden's producing a lot I eat probably half my meals from it. My energy level goes thru the roof.

I'm too much of a cheap arse to do that . I always eat any leftovers and get pissed if something does go bad.

It helps that I enjoy cooking and trying new stuff. Keeps it from getting old quick.

Well it can be expensive if youre not shopping to save money.

You could eat fast food every meal of the day for a week and the smart shopper at the grocery store will still come out ahead

People that think money cant be saved either cant cook, dont know how to shop at a grocery store, or are too lazy and would rather go to popeyes and overpay for fried chicken.

I do tip based on the total of the bill, regardless of what percentage drinks are, but I get annoyed when they give an attitude when I order water...especially because most times I am out my booze costs more than the food.

Turned 31 in March. I don't drink liquor when I'm eating dinner, and I always just pick it up. I'll only go actually sit down if I am on a date, and I've been trying to do activities during the day lately

Yes .. Then you're adding the expected 25/30% on top of the crazy booze bill ..

As a bachelor, you only really achieve a cost save if you are willing to make multiple meals-worth of the same thing and eat it over the following days.

Grocery portions are typically geared towards multiple servings.
