Pool if you are a douchebag or want douchebags hanging out at your house. Ping Pong for fun and beer pong and several other games

Pool table looks more refined and looks like a piece of the furniture, but the ping pong table will probably be used more and you actually exercise (a little) playing it.
But, in my house growing up, we had them both so I never had to choose.

So did we. Ping pong got more use when I was younger. Once booze and cocaine became a factor it was the pool table all day.
