OPEC needs the high prices more than we do.

Not sure if I'll receive more up votes or down votes? I imagine I'm going to be hammered with the oil hate around here therefore the downs.

Why do up votes and down votes matter so much to you?

OPEC is loosing their arse right now. Long term, we can survive low prices. They can not. Oil is not America's whole economy. It is their whole economy.

It's a start but there is still a long road out of this. Additionally the OPEC members don't usually follow through on these agreements.

$2-2.25 is high enough gas prices. Plenty of money at that point for everyone to make plenty on a fillup.
