Hard yes. Bossier isnt a bad place to live, there's just nothing to do or see. A lot of people grow up there and settle there, creating a cultural bubble.

I honestly don't get why Shreveport gets such a bad rap. It's no worse than any other city its size in the south. My parents live west of town and my brother lives north of town and they never have any problems.
