LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - One person is dead following a drive-by shooting near W. Tank Farm Road and Sailfish Drive Saturday evening, authorities said.

Never thought I read about a driveby shooting on Tank Farm.

What is happening to Lake Charles?

Growing pains as Lake Chuck makes the transition from sleepy hamlet to major metropolis.

Anyone know the history of the fish streets. How have they always seemed to hook in the trashiest people? I would have thought that the crime scene would have scaled back some with lake Charles growth, but it still seems they have the same problems. Is the problem a lack of schools nearby?

I'll assume the answer is the one that always causes this: section 8

Victim was a lady sitting on her couch watching TV and hit by a stray bullet, apparently not the intended victim. Very sad indeed

I've listened to that "Lake Charles" song before but have never been within 100 miles from there so it probably couldn't have been me but you never know.
