A dump truck and 4 other vehicles were involved in a major accident near Post Office Road.

Louisiana State Police are on the scene.

I just went by, too. How do 5 vehicles wreck there? So sad.

Dump Truck was headed towards BR when he lost control and tried to use the median. Ended up running head on into the oncoming traffic.

Driver lost control. Exactly what parts of the truck were certified by you?

My wife saw this happen on her way to work. She's the one who called 911. When she called me to tell me what happened, she could hardly talk from being so shaken up. Said it was terrible.

Prayers to everyone involved, especially the family who lost a loved one.

65MPH is too fricking fast for that stretch of road.

Picture says differently.

The picture indicates that this is correct which means somebody ran a red light.

I wouldn't admit this until it is determined that it wasn't a failure of what you certified. Is your name on any documents?

Isn't it 55 through that section? Doesn't matter. It should be 45.

disagree. 55mph is very appropriate for a divided 4 lane federal highway.

I certify trucks for weight and volume for state projects.

The only two aspects concerning my certification is the legal payload and volume of the truck. If you look at the sticker on the bed of the truck, on the lower front side, you will see a red and silver sticker. That is my work.
