You like Speedys starting with the 105.012 in ~1964 which was the first "Professional" and the first one to have twisted lugs and an asymmetrical case with crown guards.

I know that a lot of people hate all the Speedmasters that Omega makes but I think it is cool that someone whose grail is a CK2915-1 can get a 60th anniversary CK-2915 if they aren't one of a tiny few that can own an original. The same goes for the Ed White 105.003 reissue with the 321 caliber in it. These are the true homages of the watch world.

There is only one voice for watch issues, and that is Archie Luxury.

I have to the sapphire sandwich. I wish I had the micro adjustment clasp, that came out about a year after I got mine.

Of my watches, it’s the one I use as a “dress watch”, it was also my “engagement watch” from my wife and I wore at my wedding. It looks killer with a tux.

Excellent responses, thanks. I have a newish planet ocean and was amazed how much changing to the leather strap with clasp changed the whole feel of the watch. The new speedys bracelet is the best I’ve tried, but adding the omega strap feels like you’re wearing a different watch.
