I'm trying to think of how shitty a company would have to be to buy a bit from a guy that bought a bit from eBay.

Decent money to be made in used bits. My buddy used to make about $175k a year on the side, selling used bits from the company he worked for. they would throw them away and he would get them out of the trash. They found out he was making money, and put a stop to it (he wasn't fired). I think most bits were being sold out west, to drill water wells.

i dont buy from ebay. And people that buy from ebay necessarily dont sell to drilling companies

New bits from the major bit companies are expensive depends on size.
