I've always thought that Foley would be a great behind the scenes guy/Booker for WWE.....Vince would never do it though.

The fact that CM Punk isn't the lead guy (heel or face) and biggest money maker in WWE shows you how idiotic it has become.
ETA it is also pretty egregious that DB isn't on a clear path to that level as well.

I'm not watching but it sounds like the future storyline should be that Vince personally fired all the writers, employs a bunch of well known heels to write it, and rioting ensues.
