The ferrari was a steal for sure, but probably because of the high cost of the service.

I also like watching bidders run up the prices on the charity cars and throwing $700,000 out there because they can.

I think that car that Sharon Stone auctioned off...they were hoping for more...sounded like they were disappointed that it went for 130k

I was just about to say.. that was so awkward. On one hand, she auctioneered pretty effortlessly, but on the other, they said the car had previously sold for $250k or something like that.

One of the guys they were interviewing:

"I don't plan on buying anything. I bought 6 cars in the last few weeks, so it isn't in my plans.. but who knows? If something catches my eye, I can be swayed"

Screw you, dude.

Yea Rick Hendrick bought it and said no one was driving it except to the truck, then it was going into his museum. Jeff Gordon and Bobby Rahal were standing there with him at the time IIRC.

ETA Rick Hendrick, HE POOR

With that paint job was it a special edition or a pace car or something? I'm sure it drives worse than it looks.

Ya know, they talked about who owned it before and how it was donated, but I don't recall hearing anything about the actual car itself.

Let me see.

This is the only additional info I can find.

And they should've known it could go south quickly with Sharon Stone at the helm. Probably happy the awkwardness was the worst thing.

Like Nurse said, she actually unfolded a piece of paper and called people out that she knew had the money
