Why can't they reach for tazers instead of guns sometimes?

I seriously don't know if that's reasonable but he was 7-8 feet from him. He could have easily hit him with a tazer, no?

If it's a deadly force situation we are trained not to use Tazers. A lot of officers don't have Tazers. I don't have one. In this situation it looks like the officer over reacted.

Understandable

No doubt. It never once looked to me like he was going for a gun. That guy had an itchy trigger finger and perhaps should have never became a cop in the first place if his first reaction was to shoot.

Overreacted?

He fired two more shots after the guy raised two empty hands above his head

He was still shooting as the guy was falling to the ground.

Once the victim stepped away from the car it was clear nothing was in his hands yet 2 more shots were fired. That bitch cop deserves to be in jail.

Did the guy die? He was talking to the cop in the video.

If he lived, I hope he gets bookoo money from a lawsuit.

There was no overreacting. He acted the way nearly any cop would. The vast majority of pigs wake up every morning praying they get to shoot someone.

Pretty sure the victim is still alive. He should be dead as the cop fired 3 shots from no more than 10 ft.

Okay, you get your e-credit points for the day for proving how cool and edgy you are by bashing cops. Now, go sit down.

Aren't State Police supposed to be the highly trained ones?
