Good deal. Was trying to be hospitable and I figured a flask of taaka was in order to ease the pain of the coming tiger beating.

What fascinates me is how hardcore people were less than a thousand years before us.

These little SJWs are getting all up in arms because men talk vulgar behind the scenes...

shite, Mongol women weren't even allowed to marry until they had killed someone in battle.

Rape and murder were seen as necessary traits, to be chronicled and celebrated.

Just makes me Think that when the shite really hits the fan, and the veneer of society shatters and we are plunged into the depths of our basest beast nature...it will be so terrible for these little snowflakes.

Safe spaces And hashtags won't stop a horde of men with their blood up from beating down the door and raping them wholesale like the Mountain.

The only things that may save them is being well armed and able to use it, which they are vehemently against.

I swear, it's like so much of the world has abandoned logic and reason.

Well they are the ones that wouldn't have made it this far centuries ago. The population just wouldn't exist.

All I can figure is you were re-embodied from one of Sherman or Nathan Bedford Forrest's troops.

We are so due for a culling. The earth seems to have a way of controlling populations over the millennia.

Famine, disease, natural disasters, war.

Looking at the histories, it's almost like every so often, a horde of killers shows up from nowhere, slaughters en masse, and then fades away.

I wonder if we'll see that again in our lifetime

I'm not sure if I'll welcome the overloaded or if they will come in my time, but they are coming sooner than later.

Like when the Khans just showed up out of no where to the Polish states and Hungary, etc. the kings had no clue where these people just appeared from but they brought hell.

You calling me a Yankee!?

But yeah...I've had dreams. Vivid dreams of being in battles in ages past. From different eras.

Some sort of Germanic warrior in one, painted in blood and drinking from the skull of an enemy, cleaving men in twain.

In another one I'm on a train, heading to some battlefield caked in mud and blood and gore. I can smell the poison gas, hear the staccato rattle of the machine guns, see the guts festooned on the barbed wire like a macabre garland.

A shell hits and I end up bleeding, trying to hold my intestines in while horses scream.

I'm actually working on a story that involves some ancient evil unearthed and awoken in the carnage of WW1. Some primordial demonic force sealed away in centuries past breaks free after shelling exhumes it and it begins to wreak havoc and death on the lines.

Eventually some men are able to capture and contain the thing and seal it back away, but it isn't destroyed.

Fast forward to the present day and our protagonist, whose wife has left him for another man and who has lost his career, is near suicide when he gets a letter telling him he's inherited the farm left to him by his great great grandfather.

He uproots and finds a new life at the farm, and while there finds a chest with old correspondences from
WW1 between family on the front. Detailing the things that happened there.

And at some point, an ancient evil begins to stir...will he be able to stop it in time?

How so? You don't have crazy dreams? Or ideas? You don't create things?

Seeing as we have things like books and movies I'm not the only one
