Depends on your definition of wrong.
The reasoning behind teaching this kid to not yell out "Shut the frick up, bitch" is a pretty good one, regardless of morality.
If it's due to wanting to reinforce a respect for authority, yeah the kid is "wrong". But even if you don't believe in that sort of thing, that kid is going to his shite kicked in or worse doing that to certain people.
Either way if you at all care about the kid, that shite can't be tolerated.
