Recruiting in BR - isn't BR having issues filling its own police force?

Billboard says:

"The person behind this badge is a neighbor just like you"

Everyone was big mad a couple weeks ago because a 3rd year officer in NOLA made 180k with his details.

Not sure if it is worth it, but might be if your options are limited.

City cops with overtime can do pretty well. Still not worth it.

Maybe they are trying to target BRPD officers that would transfer to NOPD. Otherwise known as jumping out of the frying pan into the fire

You guys are looking at this all wrong.

Like everything else in New Orleans, we should blame the placement of this billboard and the wasteful spending for it on Mayor Cantrell.

Only an idiot would allow their police department to waste recruiting dollars on a billboard in a city that has likely never produced a single recruit before.

Democrat Mayors have the ability to frick up everything. And by everything, I even mean this.
