I knew players were dumb. But the owner??

LINK

quote:

After they stood by kneeling, after they spoke loudly saying nothing, long after four Miami Dolphins players became a national story by their protest during the national anthem, they were joined by a fifth Dolphin. Steve Ross, the team owner, went up to safety Michael Thomas in the locker room and shook his hand. "Let's get ready to do something about this," he said, even in the emotionally crushing aftermath of the Dolphins' season-opening loss to Seattle, 12-10. "We're ready," Thomas said.

quote:

And so this national sports protest for change and more racial awareness got its biggest recruit to date. Ross isn't some disposable player. He didn't have to back off from joining the protest because he's a small-name reserve who feared for his job, as Thomas initially did.

quote:

"I don't think there was any lack of respect," Ross said. "Everyone in this team and whole organization respects the flag and what it stands for. These guys are making a conversation about something that's very important topic in this country. I'm 100 percent in support of them."

And...what conversation are they making? What's the topic again?

The Dolphins are the Kaepernick of NFL teams.

When is it deemed fair in their eyes? When will they stand up again? They've yet to define their terms of ransom. They're idiots.

These protests will remain meaningless in most people's eyes as long as black people are the leaders of their own genocide. There are a few police shootings tracker sites out there that show under 200 black men killed by cops so far in 2016. Most of them were justified. That's about 3 months worth of murders in Chicago alone.

I don't care if they kneel or stand or anything else but at this point, people are doing it just to do it. The meaning, if it even exists in most of these cases, is getting lost.

All the news reports duly notes that (insert name here) kneeled during the anthem but they don't mention why.

Ross is a known Zionist. This is not a surprise that he would try and stoke civil strife in the US. He is a piece of shite.

I do not respect the Miami Dolphins for throwing money at a Dictator when everyone knows that a Dictator does not work in the NFL. A Dictator only works in College.

The Miami Dolphins should just be glad they were able to come to Louisiana and allowed to play the game and leave peacefully.

The black community hates this country. Just go ahead and cut to the chase and not expect any of them to ever stand for the anthem. This brick by brick approach is taking too damn long. No need to drag this out.
