It is just the worst. Me and my wife this me and my wife that. I'll have to talk to my wife about it. I was talking to my wife last night. Me and my wife are headed to the mountains this weekend. I get it guy you got married good for you

I do hate this phrase and can't understand why it's so popular. That sounds like a miserable approach to life and happiness.

You must not have any hobbies, or you're just a complete douche that does what he wants regardless of other people.
I enjoy hunting and fishing, among other things. Doing shite around the house a few times a month makes my wife happy, and I don't catch shite for going hunting.
I'll gladly hang a frickin picture or wash dishes if it means I get to go sit in the woods or on the water damn near every Saturday morning and not have my wife griping at me.
Take that as you will. I don't do it to get permission to go do what I want. I do it because it makes my wife happy, and not batshit crazy because she can't take care of an infant and get everything done around the house.
ETA: Now, just doing shite because the wife wants it regardless of anyone else is a different story. Anyone who makes themselves miserable because of a demanding wife is just an idiot.
