New Zealand Infantry performs Maori Haka for fallen comrades

200 New Zealand Infantry soldiers perform the Haka for 2 fallen soldiers. It's an amazing send off for their friends. The silence immediately after is eerie.

PS- Who cares if this is 2 years old. It's awesome.

That just brought tears to my eyes. Very warrior way to send out fallen soldiers. I'm pretty shocked by how powerful that video was.

I take it you have never been in the Military or associated with any organization that has tradition and respect for one another.

The Haka is pretty damned awesome. Although, to many around the world who see it primarily before rugby matches on TV, it looks silly or unorganized. They don't seem to understand the tradition nor that the men are NOT trying to emulate the Rockettes.
