16 people shot in park
That's some neighborhood pride right there. Way to rebuild, folks.

Hard to help those that do not desire to help themselves

I wonder if they use the footage in the finished video.
Talk about street cred.

Not even a Cat 5 hurricane can change things.

It's really embarrassing.... the very focus of the Katrina catastrophe and thus the beneficiaries of millions upon millions of dollars and thousands of volunteer helpers from all over the country, including celebrities, and then this.

I live near a bad area and I try to purchase most things locally to pump money into the economy.

Katrina was a chance to fix things.
But they rebuilt projects in the same places and, shocker, cesspools of crime again.
The destruction of the black family and the refusal of any "leader" to speak out about it and the glorification of having tons of babies by different women is to blame.

Rexie, you can't help folks that don't want to be helped. You can't blame it on poverty or lack of opportunities either. I grew up poor as dirt. It made me motivated to not be poor as dirt, not to go out and kill people.

As long as liberal policies reward the behaviors that lead to the culture nothing will ever change.

Same here. Never used it as an excuse to hurt or rob people.

Yet they'll get checks a house, healthcare,an iPhone, and probably an escalade.

You're a billion times better poster when you aren't trolling the Poliboard.

My opinions don't change according to which message boards I'm on.
