Neighbor got in my face over dog barking tonight

So I pulled up to my house in my truck with my boys got out and there's is this old coming coming up my driveway in his golf cart and says I have a problem with your dogs. They're barking like crazy he says. I don't even know this dude and he lives on the other side of the fairway ( I live on a golf course). I said to him that I appreciate him coming to me and not the subdivision association or the police. Then the dude told me he already called the cops, and they told him he needed to talk to me before they'd come out, so that is what he was doing in coming over. My dogs are never out past 8pm and the only time they bark is when a golfer walks by and if they go nuts I bring them in. I've lived out here 5 years and this is the first thing I have heard about my dogs barking. It didn't end well. The guy was confrontational and in my face. I told him to get off my property and he stood in the public street and said what are you going to do about it. I said stay in the street all night you jackass and went in. The dude must have been drunk.
