I need new tires for my 2011 GMC Sierra Denali. I am looking at the BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KO because I like the look of the aggressive tread pattern. Not because I drive off road. But it looks like the Michelin Defender LTX is the highest rated tire in that size.

Anyone put either of these tires on their truck? Any other recommendations?

Butt if you need a fresh set of truck nuts I've got a guy.

Cooper AT3. Best truck tire out there unless you want some loud mid tires.

Have had them for about 6 years, 30k miles. Like them. They don't seem to wear really fast.

I wouldn't call them aggressive looking, which is the main reason I will not be buying them again. Your idea of aggressive might be different.

BFG KO2's are the more aggressive looking, which may be what you mean. I bought some for my F150 years ago and they were really good tires. Lasted about 45k-ish miles if I remember correctly. Very good tire but they are proud of them.

Check out Treadwright tires. They are very cheap retreads. When I got mud tires for my Land Rover they were the cheapest by far

I just put my 2nd set of Cooper AT3's on my Sierra 2500HD last week. 1st set lasted 70,000 miles and still could've went a little more. Best tires I've ever had.

Endurance of the bfg isn't what it used to be.

I love Nitto Crosstek.

I've had three sets, all lasted about 20-30k miles past their rating. They look good too.

I was wondering why this wasn't on the Outdoor Board.

With 10,000 mile rotations on my Nissan Titan, I got 46K miles on a set of KO2s before trading in my truck. They looked like they still had another 25K on them.I seem to remember reading that the KO2s had a formulation change shortly after coming out to address the endurance issue. In any event, those were the best tires that I have run on a truck yet.

Best tires on the market IMO. Just be ready to shell out some money for them

Not a popular option but the Firestone Destination ATs are great tires. I had a set on my ‘08 Chevy with almost 90k miles on them before replacing. Rotated every 8-10k miles.
