Call the vendor where you got it, ask them to come take care of it for you. Pay the money. Fix floors. Repeat steps 1 and 2.

You obviously need bodies.
Move table to one side of room. (Side opposite of starting point) Floor up to Pool Table. After floor is ready, replace table to its original spot.

Go to Harbor Freight and buy 4 furniture dollies.

it's a fine pool table and I would just about give it away but I don't want the place torn up with some yahoos trying to get it out, it's upstairs and the stairs are kind of a steep, decreasing radius turn

I'm in the DFW area, too far?

yeah, bummer. If it was local I'd be very interested.
Wanting a pool table, got nostalgic and recently bought 3 arcade machines. (Mortal Kombat 1 & 2, and Street fighter 2). Wanting a nightmare on elm st. Pinball and pool table next.

sounds cool, a buddy of mine built what looks like an old sit down Ms. Pac Man machine for me except he downloaded about 8000 games that it will run, complete with a piss, I mean pause button, some speed and "cheating" features, it's pretty cool

Floor jack is the correct answer. I am about to have to do this and this is the way I am going.

Can you take it apart?
Seriously.
I moved a pool table a few years ago. Once I removed the felt, the slate underneath was actually 3 pieces.

It can be dismantled and reassaebled. Protect the slate.

Bad idea, it will no longer be level, and it may even Jack up the slate. There is a layer of beeswax where the slate edges meet, if that cracks, you get a bump under the felt.
Best bet, hire a professional. Take down will cost about $125, rebuild will be around $250.
