Need help finding a used mobile home.

I am looking at buying 10 acres with an older house on it. The house will need to be remodeled and I'm wanting to buy a used house trailer for around 5k to live out of while I'm remodel. Does anybody know where I could begin to look ? I am current living in Hammond.

Buy a 5th wheel camper. If you don't have a truck to tow it, get it delivered. You can find a quality used one and lose much less money on the back end. If not that route, set the mobile home as far from your future home as possible. Set it up to become a rental unit.

You will spend a couple thousand just to have to mobile home moved to your property
I second the camper idea. Will be easier to resell and get off your land once your home is done.

Sell your old place and just rent a cheap apartment. Will even out with the cost of buying a cheap trailer, permits, moving it, etc

Where are you gonna have the trailer at?
If it's a trailer park....you will have to factor in the cost of monthly lot rent. Which can run around $300/month on up.
