I want to only buy one router for now. Which one gives me more bang for my buck? I'm looking at the Google Onhub by Asus or a single Google Wifi node.

The Google Wifi says it only covers 1500 sq ft with one node, and my home is over 1700. Will the Onhub by Asus give me more coverage with a single unit? They're the same price online right now ($129).

I posted on the Tech Board, but it's a ghost town there.

I need a new router as well, I get terrible coverage in the back of my hose. I'll look into this one. I'm assuming moving it to a central part of my house and high up not in a cabinet will help.

I did my research on that guy. Like most Netgear products, they reel you in with great features and low prices, but in the long run, you're left disappointed bc the cheap build quality craps out on you.

I think I've narrowed it down to the two products I asked about above. Thanks for the suggestion though

I've had mine up and running for 2 years now. I pick it up entering my neighborhood and it doesn't release until i'm leaving.
I have never had to reset it for anything.

But that's just one mans review.

Nice, man

Glad it's working for you. I've just been burned too many times with bad internet that I want to go with a big player and a sure thing this time.

I have the 3 piece eero system and I love it. Super simple to set up and it covers 2000sq ft with little loss of bandwidth.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.

I might just go with the Google Onhub by Asus, as it looks like it uses 1900ac instead of 1200ac like the Google Wifi.

Same router I use. Works great. Covers my entire house and reaches to my outdoor area.
