I have a basic weekender that I wear every day but I need a watch for when I'm coaching and running.

One thing I need to make sure it has is stopwatch capability.

I've seen people recommend the g shock but those look huge

That motherfricker just recommended a 900 dollar watch after I bitched about a 400 dollar one.

The answer is basically any Suunto watch, but the Core is the most affordable.

This guy gets it.

I have the Suunto Core, X-Lander, and a Vector. The Core is the best value and has been one of their most popular for years. Vector is out of production but the least expensive and you can beat the piss out of it. X-Landers are kinda the same.

If $125 is out of your range then a Timex Ironman is probably your best bet. Those were my go-to's for a while.
