Honest question has your quality of life depreciated from the time Bush was in office until Obama got elected?

All I have is a couple of business degrees.

But my personal opinion is that Donald Trump would not represent the United States well as a global super power nor a good model for democracy.

I think someone like him would make a fine dictator, but there's I also think there's no chance he brings the parties much closer to compromise than they are now.

No, but Im rich like Donald Trump and basically don't give a shite. If I was the average man, I'd have to give that some thought.

The parties don't need to compromise any more than they have. Hell, the GOP has given everything away already. If anything, this country needs someone like Trump who will put his foot on the necks of those sorry bastards from both sides and not let them up.

That's a GREAT point I have been making to myself lately. I was okay with Obama taking office. Was like Oh well, lets see what happens. Then I freaked the frick out when Obamacare was dropping. Our insurance went up and changed to high deductible and so on. But I survived and if it makes the country better, then it's fine with me.

Obama pisses alot of 'my people' off so I'm constantly around to hear/read this vitriol about him ruining the country. I voted for McCain but to be fair, Obama hasn't done much to me personally except raise my insurance. In fact The mortgage help bill he passed allowed me to short-sell my house during divorce and did not have to claim it on taxes as income(that would have been smart from either party during crash so not sure he gets credit).
Certainly doesn't appear to be more unscrupulous than any other president .

I'm not voting for another Republican nor Democrat candidate again until things change big time.

You seem to give plenty of shits when you called him a liar and all your other insults.

Since you are a billionaire, I take it I am a lot closer to the average man spectrum. My life hasn't been directly impacted during since Obama has been in office positively or negatively.

Well I think of the two major parties like a husband and wife or a business partnership. A happy marriage and successful partnership both revolve around communication and compromise.

As children we were taught to compromise, in a relationship you compromise. Why the frick would you want to live in a country were both sides continue to have a my way or the highway attitude about the way it is ran?! You know what that type of mentality breeds, civil wars.

It doesn't. People who believe it also believe in fairies and unicorns.

Are you ignorant of our history?

It literally had never been that way andand is designed to be an adversarial system.

Wtf are you talking about?

I know some lower income working people who got health insurance. Wasn't that the point?

How does giving more people health insurance NOT make the country healthier/better?

I mean if there was equal number of people dropped b/c company stopped covering them and such(I recall these horror stories as well), then it could be argued.

Is there data to support more people lost insurance than attained it since Obamacare?
