I saw it first hand. Every gas station in BR along I-10 for months was chock full of Mexicans(not US citizens) jammed into a van leaving or going to Nola and stocking up on food and water. WADS of cash in hand and happy as frick to be making that kind of money to send home. Immigration issue? yes. But he's absolutely wrong about his ratio of good vs bad illegals.

You're not using any common sense. This is a really feeble gotcha attempt. He never said the majority were criminals. He didn't give any percentage. He talked about the problem, and then clarified to let people know he wasn't racist. Without the problem, there's no need to mention ANYTHING. He wouldn't be talking about Mexicans at all, if there wasn't the problem.

I totally agree with you.
Immigration needs to be addressed. A giant wall is actually okay with me. Paths to citizenship should be clear and feasible for those who continue to slip through.
I don't want them all getting free healthcare/welfare/etc. I do support healthcare for illegals who are kids obviously, too young to work.
I'm not irrational here.
