There is what looks like a small frigate docked at the Gen. Nicholls Wharf, all ribboned up. Does anyone know whether they are having any events or tours for Veterans Day?

Trump sparing no expense in putting down the NOLA protests. I assume the ship is full of SEALs and they're waiting until nightfall, when the protesters are off work, to quietly, efficiently, quell the rebellion.

I imagine they are in town for a routine port call

Info found from Port of Nola website

Under budget and ahead of schedule again!

Not using the $800,000/shell new Zumwalt destroyers.

yeah they're just in town making a quick port call. kinda unique as most ships don't make port calls in the states.

Not true at all

My submarine would make domestic port calls all the time.

I loved it because we were an east coast ship meaning our ports of call were likely Miami or Port Canveral (Cocoa Beach)

Miami was great because our CO had a very wealthy mistress who would set up open bar tabs at different spots when we stopped in town.
