Definitely a mission that would eventually happen, glad to see it is officially underway. Since it could potentially have life special precautions I'm sure will be made to sterilize the craft.

And Arthur C Clarke specifically warned us not to go there..

NASA needs to knock off all this space business and fly to Damascus, not Europa. Muslims are the mission now.

Apparently instead of orbiting Europa itself which would be difficult I'm assuming due to it low gravity and fuel required to slow down enough to achieve orbit the craft will orbit Jupiter instead and have constant passes over Europa.

Plus a probe of course!

Titan I find to be the most interesting moon in the Solar System. Would love to land a probe on it and see what it looks like beneath it's methane clouds.

And global warming, er climate change. That and manipulating data on global warming.

I wish they would stick to space.

Well crap, I just read there isn't a probe planned after all. The mission will be 45 flybys of the moon, still neat in its own right but an ice tunneling submarine probe would be nice.

From what I've read the mission is in the very early stages, but I would guess the answer to that all depends on the chosen launch window and how the planets are aligned at the time.
