Naked woman attacks police officer in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A Shreveport officer tried to take a nude woman into custody on Encina Drive, but the situation went wrong and a fight began.

On March 30, at 2:46 a.m., the Shreveport Police Department (SPD) responded to a report of a nude woman in the area of the 4200 block of Encina Drive. A solo officer located the alleged offender in the area.

As the officer was trying to take a nude woman into custody, she allegedly began fighting the officer. SPD says the officer attempted to use a taser but was unsuccessful and during the altercation, the suspect gained control of the taser and shot the officer in the arm.

A uniformed security guard witnessed this and reportedly fired two rounds from his service pistol, striking the alleged offender once.
