I'm taking a second semester course at Ole Miss, and I put together a quizlet of over 180 questions to study from. This covered our discussion questions, quizzes and our homework problems. I studied a few hours each day over the past few days, so I thought I'd have nothing to worry about. I counted 8 out of the 100 questions on my exam that I knew from studying. There were terms and situations that we hadn't covered in any section leading up to the test. So I finished my exam and it dropped me from a 93 to a 83 in the class, I was fricking livid.

I emailed my teacher asking for clarification on where the hell she pulled these questions out of her arse. I had a bit of an attitude but I was typing it in the heat of the moment...

Anyone else been fricked in the arse by a teacher in a similar fashion?

I'll go ahead and get it out the way...
Frick you buga

Lesson learned: study from the book as well. I never depended on just notes.

Suck it up Buttercup. Life gets much more difficult after college.

You'll look back in 5 years and wish all you had to do was a pass a midterm.

Spend more time studying and less time on TD

Actually, I don't care if you study or not. Just spend less time on TD.

I feel your pain brother.

Thermo raped me last semester. Dr. D pulled shite out of his arse and the class avg. was a fricking 7/100 on the last exam.

Only thing that helps is to hit liquor hard

Sounds like the teacher used a "test bank" which comes from a CD rom included in the teacher's edition of the textbook.

Two ways to combat this.

1. Study the book and use the chapter reviews to study.

2. It the book does not have chapter reviews go online and buy the teacher's edition which will include the CD rom.

If you read your book as much as you posted, you would have a High A average.
