I'm so confused here.


Surely y'all had a conversation about this when she applied for the job.

My advice would be to let your boss know now. If its an issue, she can take the other offer, as I'm sure that you both being employed is better than one or the other neither.

The other job pays less and is out of town. A big benefit for us (me) is that both our housing is paid for now by my company.

Sure, but its better to lose one job than both. Tell your boss. I'd imagine it won't be a problem, unless you make it a problem. Keep it professional during work hours.

I won't have to tell my boss. Almost everyone in our office knows both of us as. He will find out soon enough. She's very professional and so am I, keeping business and private won't be a problem.

The office gossip will be the bigger issue. People will assume I used my influence to get her a job.
