The fact that guys aren't supposed to be in the women's bathroom isn't going to stop a pedo freak from still doing just that. You think someone in the mental state of wanting to molest a child will refrain from doing so because of the threat of a misdemeanor charge for going in the wrong bathroom? There's a thread on the OT right now about a going doing just that today. Perverts are going to pervert even if you tell them to please not go in particular bathrooms.

To be honest I'm more afraid of you as a person than I am a trans, rapist, murderer, etc. Surprised you're even a father to begin with.

No one cares about your paranoid fears not based in reality.

Why not worry about male predators preying on boys in the men's restroom?

It may not stop them but it allows females to know that he isn't supposed to be in there at all, thus it's a massive DANGER sign for them. Remove that and you might has well change the name from "bathroom" to "russian roulette room".

The bottom line is that it exposes females to a much higher probability of being molested, "upstalled" or raped. Why is that preferable to hurting someone's feelings?

Well, before this, they couldn't enter a woman's bathroom without arising suspicion. Now, they can enter a bathroom without causing alarm which would prompt appropriate action.

That's a dense way of reading what I posted. Criminal acts should still result in criminal charges. The point of my post is that everyone thinking that allowing a trans man into a women's bathroom is opening up the floodgates to perverts is being incredibly naive. There has never been any gates preventing said perverts to do perverted things.

The difference is before if a man entered a women's restroom, it would naturally cause alarm. Now people are being told that men who identify as women should be able to use women's restrooms which will result in complacency when before it would've caused justified alarm or suspicion.

No it isn't. No statistics support the extent of your fear. The problem is something within you, and you're trying to hide it behind the veil of concern for your daughter. No it wouldn't. It would depend on how the guy is acting. If it's a dude who's dressing as a woman, goes to a stall, uses the bathroom, washes his hands, then leaves, then that wouldn't cause alarm with any female I know. It's just a trans guy using the bathroom.

Now, if he just stood in the corner and stared at women as they enter/leave stalls, then yeah. That's creepy with or without allowing trans dudes to use the bathroom. That's creepy even if it's a woman and not a trans dude.
