A Winnsboro man is facing multiple charges after attempting to steal a brisket at Super-1 Foods.
According to an arrest report for Bryan Hodges, 50, Shipley Road, a Monroe Police Department officer was working off duty at the store and was told a man was raising his shirt and putting item down his pants.
The officer later saw the suspect on video leaving the store with a suspicious bulge in the front of his pants.

Wow, a Monroe PD officer actually arrested someone for theft.
Frosty must be walking down Main Street in Hell right about now.

You're trashy unless you do your shoplifting at the Brokshires on Sterlington Rd.

Seriously, this is pretty common and if all he had stuffed down his brisket then it wasn't that bad.
A friend of mine managed a grocery store for a few years after graduating college. He would tell us all the time about people they would catch stealing and he said they would catch people stealing meats more than anything... And they would stuff as much as possible in their pants..
During the summer, he said every once in awhile, there was always someone who would come in with long pants, jacket, etc.. One of the workers would go tell the people in the meat department someone came in with a jacket on. And he said within a few minutes they end up catching them trying to steal.
But when they catch someone with meat shoved down their pants, its not like canned food where they can just put back on the shelf, they throw that shite away.
