So, I took the job in S. Florida. Does anyone have any insight about the Naples/Estero/Fort Myers/Bonita Springs area? The job is temp located in Naples, but will be perm in Estero. I am 33, no kids, no family, just taking the plunge. I don't want somewhere that has nothing to do, so it looks like Naples and Fort Myers have the most going on. It is nearly a 60% pay increase, but I live for almost nothing here in BR, so my cost of living will definitely increase. Thanks for all of the help!

Well, after all, you are a Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant. I bet you guys are real Ring-a-Ding-Dingers.

Anyway, just hang out on the beach, pummel your liver with liquor, stay away from trash heaps like Orlando and you'll be fine.

I recently lived in Bonita Springs for almost 2 years. I enjoyed it very much. I chose Bonita Springs because the business I was based out of had its corporate office there. Not much going on in Bonita but close to both Naples and Ft Myers. I would choose Naples or Estero over Ft. Myers.

Are you part of the Hertz move from New Jersey?

Florida is mostly Protestant, but Roman Catholicism is the single largest denomination in the state. There is also a sizable Jewish community, located mainly in South Florida. Florida's current religious affiliations are shown in the table below:[6]

Protestant, 40%
Baptist, 9%
Methodist, 6%
Pentecostal, 3%
Roman Catholic, 26%
Jewish, 3%
