Going out on a limb here? At LSU?

ETA: Nice edit in the title.

I know LSU Lab School just announced closed through Monday. Not sure about LSU proper. You might call ahead.

I think you'd have to go 190 if it's open. Unless they reopen I-10.

No issues. Just be sure to bring some alcohol and blow.

In Kirby we frequently had issues of elevators being out, shite "Literal shite" on tables in the study rooms, fire extinguishers sprayed in the stair wells, false alarms pulled during finals...

Or were you talking about traffic?

A good pair of dark tinted sunglasses will help OP from getting in trouble and absolutely no drooling.

You will want to send the kid back home and stay there yourself. Other than that, no problems.

I brought my son a new ten speed when he was a freshman and it was stolen first night. Cut the lock and took the tire off.....and my wife got hit by the " pop a lock" scam guy while we were visiting first week

Just remember that stores may be sold out of things you need. So try to remember things like surge protectors, bring food for dorm mini fridge, bottled water, snacks. I'm sure LSU will do all they can but they have a lot of kids to look out for. I'd even bring school supplies or whatever your son needs because going to the store in BR may be chaotic. Anything you can avoid having to make a trip to the store for, I would sure bring it with you.

This. I just came from Walmart on Burbank/Bluebonnet and they were out of a lot of stuff--food as well as basic household stuff. Things like towels and blankets that you might think you'd be able to get after moving into the dorm. Those who are not homeless are buying for families who are now staying with them.

I heard College Drive Walmart was worse.

Is the pop a lock guy still around? He hit me up for a tow truck scam until I called him on it and he ran like a rabbit!

I just came from Highland Walmart. Missing some veggies but that's about it. Not even crowded.
